When Delivery MattersPosition
Summary:
The Division Controller is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and complete reporting of the company's inventory.
The Division Controller will work closely with our Inventory Planning team, Cycle Counters, Accounting team and other business partners and be responsible for accurate and timely inventory data management, journal entry creation, account reconciliation, support of year-end audit process, as well as inventory-related projects and reporting activities, as requested.
Essential Functions:
Develops inventory and manufacturing standards and analytical tools and measurements in some cases with others Analyzes inventory and manufacturing standards vs.
actual amounts Recommends operating changes and system adjustments and implements changes where appropriate and agreed Provides support for corporate month-end closing efforts.
Tracking, booking, and reporting inventory results Tracking, reporting, and resolving any inventory-related errors or discrepancies Recording receipt of copper inventory and MRO items into ERP system Tracking inbound and outbound activity to provide accurate Daily Inventory Accounting Ensuring completeness of Inventory Records daily Working with Cycle Counters to obtain rotating and complete coverage of Inventory Organizing, coordinating and reporting on physical Inventory activities, confirming complete and accurate counts and reconciling/explaining variances Assisting with monthly and annual year-end closing activities Processing various month-end journals applicable to inventory, revenue and COGS and preparing related month-end reconciliations Analyzing month end reports for variances to forecast and budget and following up on unusual variances to ensure understanding Reconciling off-site inventory with business partners at least weekly Completing Account Analyses for Inventory-related balance sheet and P&L accounts Assisting in calculating Inventory Valuation Reserves Reviewing negative margin, correction of COGS and resolution Reviewing and reporting results and reconciling variances Assisting with preparation of various audit and financial statement schedules Preparing physical inventory roll-back/ roll-forwards Providing continuous research on new ways to improve the receipt and disbursement of merchandise and freight Monitoring customer credit limits and outstanding balances Assisting with creating, monitoring, and reporting KPIs for all aspects of inventory and cost accounting Analyzing appropriateness of standards and providing recommendations for changes where appropriate Additional items and/or Special projects as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Self-starter that takes the initiative to tackle issues and solve problems Ability to devise and implement an efficient process with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills High level problem-solving and follow through capabilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field 5

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
